For starters, you’ll need to progress in the Dark World until you reach the shop on the Cliffs. Go right, and you’ll reach a region with two different sets of wheat.

Screenshot by Destructoid The dog will start chasing you the moment you pick up the canister. Rush to the left of the room by creating a path with the canister. You’ll reach a new room with a tree growing in it. Go to the back of the tree, and you’ll find a NPC who gives you the egg.

You might be unable to see the NPC, but you can interact with him by reaching towards the back of the room.
