Disney Dreamlight Valley’s got a pretty consistent update schedule, which means your beloved village gets new content quite frequently. There’s still lots to explore before 2026 ends, with a stacked roadmap featuring lots of scheduled releases.

This might be the busiest year in the valley to date, so it can be tricky to keep up with everything that’s unfolding. To ensure you don’t miss out on any of the exciting additions, here’s the roadmap for all planned

July 2026 Wreck-It Ralph update

Ralph from Wreck-It Ralph is finally joining the valley with a free base game update launching sometime in July. He’s one of the most highly anticipated villagers, as he’s one of the few characters who was featured way back in DDV’s first trailers. Now, he’s finally ready to join his best pal Vanellope in the valley and is scheduled to move in sometime soon.

July 2026 Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack

On July 8, an optional, paid DLC called the

is releasing. This is the first-ever version of this type of expansion, so it’ll be quite a new experience. It’s not as big as the annual, yearly expansions we typically get, but it still has quite a lot to explore.

Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet are all DLC-exclusive characters launching in this pack. There are also loads of new quests to complete and items to unlock alongside them. Other new features included in this pack include Beekeeping, the Poohsticks minigame, and Hedgehog critter

September 2026 update

Another free, base game update is scheduled to debut sometime in September. The image for this update is a dark purple curtain covered in bats, so it seems like this one will be at least partially themed around the spooky season.

No other official details as to what this update will include have been revealed so far, but the roadmap does mention that we’ll learn more in August. Once more details are shared, we’ll add them here.

October 2026 Showcase Stream

In October, we’re getting another Showcase Stream. This one will focus on unveiling the big, annual DLC we get each year, similar in scale to

or Storybook Vale. No official information has been shared about it just yet, but the roadmap and Summer Showcase do feature a few big hints.

The image for this Showcase is blue and has waves and bubbles on it. The text for it mentions that the stream will “deep dive” into details about it, and DDV’s creative director also said we’ll “sail” into the second half of the year when revealing it. All of these clues seem to indicate it will potentially be some kind of water, underwater, or sailing-themed DLC.

December 2026 update

Screenshot by Destructoid The final confirmed free update for 2026 is scheduled for December. Similar to the September one, no information for this one has been revealed so far, but teasers will be shared in August. The only clue we have is the roadmap image, which is a frosty light blue curtain.

All upcoming characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are four officially revealed characters scheduled to come to DDV before the end of 2026. There are certainly more villagers who will become available this year; they just haven’t been revealed yet. As new characters are unveiled, we’ll add them here.
