For now, what we do know is that the new Steelbook case, featuring "timeless artwork of Old Snake and Big Boss", will at least launch alongside Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 on August 27, 2026, for Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

It’s unclear if Peace Walker will also benefit from visual adjustments, but it will at least come with custom controls.
