Screenshot by Destructoid Here are the settings that I am currently using to run the game.

• Display: Fullscreen
• frames: 60
• Vsync: Off
• Render Resolution: Medium
• Lighting Quality: Medium
• Anti-aliasing: MSAA 4X/Off
• Detail Shadows: Off
• Water Reflection: On
• Ambient Occlusion: Off

Here's a bit of an explainer about the settings that I have opted for.

• Frames: There are options to go 120 or higher, which also includes Unlimited. However, I have opted for 60 FPS as it ensures no lag on my setup.
• Vsync: Since you can't cap the FPS with VSync on, I have turned it off. You'll lose very little while reducing the load on your hardware.
• Anti-aliasing: I have opted for the default MSAA 4X, and the performance has been smooth. If you encounter lag, you should disable it to smooth out the load.

While the overall performance is pretty smooth, I am expecting a few post-launch patches to improve the gameplay and other parts of Road to Vostok, and there will be new content during early access.
