The upcoming game is a Third-Person Shooter x Horror title that combines elements from cult classics such as Call of Duty and Elden Ring. Trench Tales won’t initially release on Xbox and PlayStation platforms | Steam

Looks like Talking Drums and Crytivo have cracked the code to take the open-world genre to the next level. Tench Tales is an upcoming third-person horror shooter that brings the players to an alternative world that draws inspiration from the atmosphere and aesthetics of World War. It’s a promising Kickstarter project that has taken over the gaming world by storm. 

While Trench Tales looks promising, there’s one glaring issue: there’s no release date for Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The game’s PC exclusive is highly disappointing for Xbox and PlayStation users, especially with those machines powerful enough to push the graphical fidelity of a World War horror shooter to its limit.

, the developer has revealed that the game is being designed with consoles in mind. Porting games on consoles is time-consuming and quite challenging for a single developer. However, if the game reaches the required funds for the project, Trench Tales can expand its team to get more developers to work on a port.

Right now, the game’s initial target is to release on Steam. Based on its success after release, the developers will try to publish it on multiple platforms. It’s surely going to be interesting to see how the developer approaches this title, as we don’t really have a lot of third-person horror games that take place in a World War setting.
