Helldivers 2 was bombarded with negative reviews on Steam after it was announced that it would be necessary to link a PC Helldivers 2 account with a PlayStation Network account to continue playing the game on PC. Many believed that Sony was waiting for the game to build a solid fanbase to roll out this update. However, no one is stronger than the Helldivers 2 community as the policy is now being revoked.

When the game was being scrutinized on Steam, Helldivers 2 was delisted in 177 countries where PSN isn’t available, but Arrowhead boss Johan Pilestedt has assured players that this issue is being worked on and is expected to be resolved soon.
