In a post on social media last night, the official Xbox Game Pass account dropped numerous hints at a big addition to the service's catalog, while also dropping numerous mentions of "v" — which is, of course, the name of the game's main character.

Reinforcing the tease, the email begins with "wake up social team," which is a reference to "Wake the f**k up, Samurai! We have a city to burn," the line delivered by Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand in the 2019 Cyberpunk 2077 cinematic trailer.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been available via PlayStation Plus since last summer, so its arrival onto Xbox Game Pass would not be a huge surprise. Perhaps the hope is that anyone who's not yet played the game will be given a sample of what CD Projekt has to offer, ahead of
