Screenshot by Destructoid Athleticism and health both take a while to improve, so if your stats aren't great, it might take a few years of healthy habits and aging up to get them where they need to be for the Diving Team to accept you. Because of this, it's a good idea to prioritize these stats as early on as you can in life.

If you don't, you might not be able to get them to where they need to be before you complete school. Without the Diving Team, there's no other way to learn how to swim, so you're out of luck for that life and will have to try again in a whole new one to make it happen.
