Camera Lens in ARC Raiders didn't have any real use for a long time, but their demand has gone up due to the Shrouded Sky update.

Camera Lens have always been an item that you will typically sell for credits. While you can always recycle them into crafting materials, I have always sold them for money. However, the Weather Monitor System project requires you to find this item for a different reason altogether.

How to get Camera Lens in ARC Raiders

Like all materials in ARC Raiders, the Camera Lens doesn't have a specific location. You can gather it as random loot when going through lockers and containers. To raise your chances of success, you'll want to go to areas that are tagged as Security.

You can find such regions on all five maps, including Stella Montis. I have marked the locations on the Dam Battlegrounds in the image below, but you can try your luck in the following locations.

While the Camera Lens item can neither be obtained via recycling nor crafting, it's a fairly common item to find. Once you look carefully, you should be able to find it quite easily within a raid or two. You can also find the item in non-security zones, but the odds will be less in your favor.

How to use Camera Lens in ARC Raiders

Camera Lens can be recycled or salvaged into Plastic Parts. One Camera Lens can be recycled into eight Plastic Parts, or you can salvage it into four Plastic Parts. However, Plastic Parts are pretty easy to collect, so you can also sell Camera Lens for 640 credits.

, you'll need to submit three Camera Lens for finishing the first task of the fifth stage. Doing so will get you one Medium Shield and bring you one step closer to completing the final project.

Once you've submitted the three Camera Lens, you can choose to sell the rest for credits (or salvage them for Plastic Parts).
