(which was given to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for no apparent reason) is Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Kojima's cinematic "Strand-type" game received several awards from D.I.C.E., including Outstanding Technical Achievement and Outstanding Achievement in Audio Design. If it were up to me, that Game Direction award should've gone to Kojima as well due to the game's cinematics, cutscenes, and overall impressive and unique game design.

ARC Raiders got a bit of love as well, taking home the Online Game of the Year award. It came out a bit late in the release schedule, but it still managed to smash all expectations, getting recognized as an online powerhouse at just about every award show it got nominated in. Even we gave it an award for best live-service game, which it well deserved.
