It has brown, stone flecked beaches and garish concrete buildings plonked right on the water, blocking my view as I walk towards the Glenelg esplanade. But Glenelg still has its appeal, with its Ferris wheel and on-the-beach dining I see set up today, capturing the last weeks of warm weather.
