The original game is a foundational RPG for my tastes, and while I think the remaster is a phenomenal touch-up (performance issues aside), I think I ultimately set my expectations too high. I still sunk a few dozen hours into Oblivion Remastered, but I never finished it, and have a hard time seeing myself returning to Cyrodiil. It wasn't until I recently started playing
