This Shrine Maiden's Hakama is a +1 item that I found near the end of the Warring States storyline. Screenshot by Destructoid Azure Soul Ores are solely obtainable by performing Soul Extraction at the Blacksmith on items with +value upgrades already on them. This means that you'll need a weapon or armor with +1 or +2 or more on it already and then perform Soul Extraction (the same way you would if you're looking for Yellow Soul Ores).

These items are exceptionally rare, and I've only been able to find six of them in over 30 hours of gameplay. Most of what I did find was in the Warring States map, both as quest rewards during those initial couple dozen levels and as rare drops from powerful enemies.

My advice would be to seek out any and all challenges the game has to offer, as fighting strong bosses is just about the best way to obtain Azure Soul Ores. Closing Crucibles around the maps could put you up against waves of strong opponents, further increasing the odds of +value weapons dropping.
