[STEAM] Insomniac Games might be teasing a Daredevil appearance in Marvel’s Wolverine, but I’m not sold

Image via Insomniac Games Yesterday, however, Insomniac Games spurred on a conversation itself. I'm not sure whether it was intentional or not, either. But, it involves a social media post and one very key word in it.

"'Claws'? What's that, some kind of fancy lawyer lingo?"

along with an innocuous gif of Logan looking menacing. And when it comes to the word "lawyer" in Marvel, it will always bring people to think about the Man Without Fear, Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil (and She-Hulk, too).

Naturally, eager Marvel fans are taking this random Thursday post as some sort of teaser that Daredevil will appear in the game. And it's certainly possible, because Wolverine takes place in the same Insomniac universe as its Spider-Man games, and you can find Matt Murdock's law office within Manhattan if you choose to seek it out.

But do I buy this theory just yet? No. It is a pretty random caption on a very random social media post, and maybe it was posted to drum up discussion and get people excited. If Daredevil is to be in the game, though, why would they spoil it in something like this? But also, in what world is "claws" lawyer lingo?

I think it's entirely possible that the next PlayStation State of Play (rumored to take place next week) could feature Marvel's Wolverine. Having Murdock cameo in the trailer, along with some other surprise faces, could drive up the hype even more. I suppose we could know more soon enough, but I think this may be a case of people being excited for anything to look forward to out of the next PS5 Marvel adventure.

for Marvel's Wolverine featured some familiar faces for X-Men fans, like Mystique and Omega Red, along with Sentinels. Could Daredevil be joining them out of Hell's Kitchen somehow? If he does, I don't even want to know about it until I can play the game later this year.

Either way, I'm excited to see what Insomniac has cooked up in the near future.
