, you need the Aviaries Passepartout to gain access to this area. Luckily for players, the item isn’t too far from where the locked door is, but you will need to put in a bit of effort before you can add it to your inventory.

Aviaries Passepartout location

The Aviaries Passepartout can be found in the Feral Undergrowth behind the Flora boss, located on the map below. You have to beat the boss before you can get to the Aviaries Passepartout, which will appear as a glowing object on the ground to the right of where Flora was.

The Aviaries are to the right of the Spine. Screenshot by Destructoid Obviously, if you reach the door from inside the Aviaries, it won’t open a “new” area. Opening this door, however, makes getting to the Aviaries that much easier if you have yet to unlock fast travel. After all, who really wants to spend all their time going back and forth through an area they've already been before?
