Saber COO confirms development status of three games after Embracer ***** raises doubts

The COO of Saber has confirmed the ongoing development of three of its games, after its recent ***** from Embracer Group led to questions being asked about their status.

In a post on X, Tim Willits confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park: Survival are all still in development.

“I have received a lot of questions concerning the status of some of our previously announced projects now that Saber has separated from Embracer,” Willits wrote.

“I’m happy to confirm we’re still working on a number of titles, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, and Jurassic Park: Survival.

“We’re so excited about these titles and can’t wait to share more with everyone soon.”

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was set to release this past winter, but it was announced in November that it had been significantly delayed. The game is now set to release on September 9.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is a co-operative FPS in which players have to ******** the Sludge ****, an evil creature which can turn people into zombies. The game will use Saber’s Swarm Engine and will be released in 2024 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.

Announced in December, Jurassic Park: Survival is a single-player action adventure game set the day after the events of Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film.
