The Steam Client Beta has been updated with the following changes:

General

  • Fixed certain games using Steam DRM exiting unexpectedly, including ****** II (Classic) and Football Manager 2012.

Linux

  • Fixed apps not showing in Add Non-Steam Game dialog after browsing for them.

  • Fixed Windows games intermittently not showing as installable on when a valid Proton mapping is selected.

Steam Input

  • Temporarily disabled support of Nintendo Switch 2 and GameCube adapters in native mode to address reports of crashing with other controllers.

  • Fixed controller configurations showing up blank when the "Enabled Guide Button Chords" option is disabled.
