[STEAM] How to bake Dark Matter Drizzlers in Destiny 2’s Dawning

Your oven is the most important tool of the Dawning, and we're not exaggerating. Image via Bungie As usual, making Dark Matter Drizzlers requires three ingredients:

• Ether Cane
• Dark Frosting
• Essence of Dawning (15 for the first time and 10 after you've masterworked Eva's oven)

Ether Cane drops by killing Fallen enemies anywhere in the system, whether in the Portal or not. One of our go-to spots for this for years has been the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector in the Cosmodrome, though any Lost Sector or activity with this enemy faction will do.

Dark Frosting, on the other hand, drops by getting kills with Darkness-based elements, meaning Stasis or Strand. Every final blow can drop this, so it shouldn't take too long to grab at least one for your baking needs.

Lastly, Essence of Dawning is a reward for completing activities. Your best bet here is doing Portal activities, especially the faster ones. The quickplay Vanguard Alerts playlist is a prime destination for this, since its activities are usually quick and rewarding. The old method of racing through Lost Sectors or public events to stock up on this resource doesn't work anymore.

If you just need one of the new cookies for the quest, you should have enough Essence of Dawning that you only need the first two ingredients, so clear out Fallen enemies with any sort of Darkness damage, and you can advance to the next step on the list.

After you've made your cookies, hand them to the Dean on Kepler, either in the destination itself or during a Caldera run in Solo Ops.
