The time to bake cookies is upon Destiny 2 with the Dawning event. This time, Eva Levante taught us a new recipe: Peanut Butter Paw Prints, a treat for Archie, the Tower's favorite cybernetic canine.

Despite the slew of changes to Destiny 2 since The Edge of Fate, the core of the Dawning remains the same: kill enemies, get ingredients, bake cookies, spread the holiday joy, and hope you get a Holofoil weapon out of your gift.

This year, the event's main quest tasks you with baking two new recipes:

• Dark Ether Cane
• Balanced Flavors
• Essence of Dawning x15

Dark Ether Cane requires you to defeat Scorn enemies in Destiny 2, which can be tricky to find. They appear in some Portal activities, such as Nightmare Containment and Kell's Fall, but you can also make a quick detour to the Bay of Drowned Wishes Lost Sector in the Dreaming City.

Balanced Flavors, on the other hand, can drop whenever you defeat an enemy with a bow, pulse rifle, scout rifle, or a sniper rifle. Just use one of those weapons to grab this ingredient, but if you'd like to grab Balanced Flavor in droves, we recommend Trinity Ghoul or Graviton Lance. Both excel at taking down red bars, so you'll be swimming in this ingredient in no time.

Lastly, Essence of Dawning drops whenever you complete a Portal activity. You can, of course, head to Solo Ops for quick runs, but the Vanguard Alerts playlists are usually fast and rewarding as well. Aim for activities that have Distorted Dawning Engrams as rewards for even more drops.

When you have all the ingredients, bake a batch of Peanut Butter Paw Print cookies and bring them to Archie in the Tower's Annex, just opposite the entrance to Ada-1's den. We're not sure if they're dog-safe—especially not "cybernetic dog we kind of adopted from a derelict facility" safe—but we know Archie appreciates it all the same.
