has unveiled its next big video game, but I'm not convinced that this will be able to repeat Baldur's Gate 3's magic trick. On one hand, I'm glad that D&D isn't trying to rush out a direct Baldur's Gate 3 successor, and the newly revealed Warlock being something completely different might be a good thing. On the other hand, the game's central ambition might be setting itself up for failure.
