How to get Feathers in Little Kitty, Big City

In Little Kitty, Big City, you’ll bump into Tanuki, who’ll want you to fetch her three feathers for her invention, not that she’ll tell you what it is.

Feathers, naturally, come from birds. You won’t just find the feathers lying about in Little Kitty, Big City, unfortunately, you’ll have to actively get them yourself.

You won’t find birds all over the place, although you’ll find about half a dozen, conveniently, right outside the construction zone you’ll find Tanuki in. Go back outside, and look to the street. If you don’t see any, then that’s because they’ve decided to go for a little fly, but they’ll be back.

You’ll be able to see where birds usually are by keeping an eye out for bird ****. Where there’s bird ****, there’s usually birds.

Once a bird has landed on the street, or you’ve found one, you’ll be able to attempt to score a feather. If you approach it, and it notices you, however, it’ll fly away, and you’ll have to wait for it to land again.

To get up close to a bird in Little Kitty, Big City, you’ll have to sneak up. By holding control, LB, or L1, you’ll be able to sneak.

You’ll still have to be careful when sneaking up to a bird, however, as if you’re in front of them, they’ll still see you and fly away. Also, I was once busted by someone walking past me from behind and bumping into me – startling the bird.

So, once you’re behind them, and have snuck up to them, you’ll soon be able to pounce.

Hit the pounce button, and your kitty will do a slow motion jump where they pin the bird down. Don’t worry, the bird will fly away, but a feather will be dropped in the scramble. Walk into the feather to pick it up.

With three feathers collected, you have a choice. You can either hold on to them, or you can give them to Tanuki. I’d say it’s well worth giving them to Tanuki, but it’s your choice, as other creatures may find them valuable. But then again, you can always just grab more feathers.
