Screenshot by Destructoid When you load in to the UEFN Game Awards experience now, the center of the area shows the unmistakable silhouette of Lara Croft, meaning The Game Awards on Thursday will now showcase and reveal the next entry in the Tomb Raider franchise.

Other than a few recent remasters, it's now been seven years since Croft's most recent adventure in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. This new entry is shrouded in mystery for now, but the first look coming this week should hopefully generate some hype moving into 2026.

For now, fans of the series can look forward to some exciting news over the next few days and hopefully not too long of a wait until everyone can play it. Either way, the wait is not much longer now.
