I'll never proclaim to be a 20-year WoW veteran with five-figure playtime hours racked up, but I've certainly been pulled into the MMO-sphere on plenty of occasions. Everything began with exploring Runescape as a youngster, but my greatest and most recent vice was Destiny 2. I've had some great times with Bungie's shooter, but like so many others in recent months, I've left it to gather dust, and I've not picked up another

since. However, that may soon change - and not because a Star Wars-themed expansion is hitting Destiny 2 next week. A release date has just been set for Pioner, a post-apocalyptic MMOFPS with Escape From Tarkov levels of intensity that I'm very keen to play. Thankfully, that opportunity will be arriving extremely soon indeed.
