Diamond Member Steam 0 Posted November 23, 2025 Diamond Member Share Posted November 23, 2025 This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up One of the easiest ways to describe the first Grime was to ignore everything about plot and setting and just get straight to the gameplay, because while all the elements worked in context trying to explain what was going on would quickly earn some very confused looks. "You're a creature made of rock with a ****** hole for a head in a world that feels like a dark prog-rock album cover grown beyond all reason", and it didn't get much saner from there. Focus on it being a 2.5D metroidvania/soulsborne fusion and everything made sense, but the setting and enemies felt like they could have come from an obscure eastern European animated movie seen once, late at night on a dodgy hotel's tv, and never found again. Obviously we're going to be needing more of that, and the Grime II demo that was released on Thursday ( This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up ) doesn't disappoint.
