Разработчики переживают производственный ад, бюджеты раздуваются, изначальная концепция теряет стройность формы, а издатель терпение. В итоге такие игры либо беспощадно отменяют, либо они доходят до аудитории в урезанном виде. В случае с продолжением знаковой «метроидвании» Hollow Knight, получившей поэтичное название Silksong («Шелковая песнь») ситуация получилась практически прямо противоположной. Независимые геймдизайнеры из австралийской студии Team Cherry были хозяевами своего счастья.
