Screenshot by Destructoid If you're trying to use the flare outside the correct location, you'll be gunned down. Hence, be careful about where you're using the flare.

Before you escape, the camp by the marked truck has plenty of items to loot. But the location also has Scavs, so be mindful of that. If you manage to put them away, the loot is all yours, and you can carry them back safely via the extraction.
