Augments are the centrepiece of your ARC Raiders loadouts, and getting better ones is crucial once you're past the beginner stage.

Whether you're trying to enhance your fighting potential or get more loot, having better augments is pretty much necessary. There is more than one way to obtain an augment, and things get tougher if you're trying to secure the very best ones. This quick guide will highlight the best-known methods when it comes to grabbing the top-tier augments.

, you can get top-tier augments from looting. However, these augments aren't going to spawn just about anywhere. So far, my best returns have come from areas that can only be opened with keys.

These locked areas can be found on all four maps. Typically, the keys are rare spawns themselves, so you might be unable to find them on every run.
