• Close the game and Steam.
• Shut down your router.
• Wait a few moments.
• Restart the router and wait for the internet connection to be restored.
• Restart Steam, and launch the game.
• This should hopefully prevent the error from popping up, and you should be able to launch ARC Raiders without any issues.

That said, the error could return once again when you're trying to launch the game. Repeat the steps mentioned in this guide. I am hopeful that Embark will release a patch soon to address the problems players are currently experiencing.

servers are operational at the time of writing, many players have also been reporting errors when trying to connect to a server. If you're also getting ARX errors in matchmaking, you're not alone. I am unsure when the current problems will subside, and the high player count could also be a contributing factor to the server issues.
