Screenshot by Destructoid To "scope them out," you need to approach the left thruster and walk around it, which'll automatically mark this segment of the quest as complete. It's obscure, but you literally have to survey and see the thruster yourself. No extra prompts are necessary. The exact location where you need to stand is on the image above. If it doesn't trigger, go super close to the thruster and move to the left.
