Fireball Burners can be used as fire grenades or turned into ARC Alloys. Screenshot by Destructoid Fireball Burners have several highly specific purposes, most of which aren't directly tied to gameplay. They are necessary for several quests in the game, which require you to get them and kill ARCs or Fireballs using them. In this sense, they can be used in the same way as any other throwable in the game, creating fire when used.

On the other hand, Fireball Burners can be recycled into ARC Alloy, a vitally important component for much of the game's crafting. If you don't have any quests tied to the Fireballs, then I suggest you simply melt it down for parts, as you'll find much more use in ARC Alloys than Fireball Burners.

Fireballs themselves are also quest-specific, with some Feats requiring you to do damage to them by any means, awarding Cred currency for completion. I'd also keep a stock of Fireball Burners on the side should the need arise for them down the line, but most you can just turn into good ol' alloys.
