Zi'Appunta starts with the Ammo Appalate weapon. Screenshot by Destructoid To evolve the weapon you'll first need to unlock it. It's one of the most challenging weapons to obtain in the game, requiring you to kill 251,096 ranged (shooting) enemies. Once you have done so, you will have cleared a special achievement tied to this very weapon and get a chance to see it in runs.

Once you have the weapon unlocked, you'll want to combine it with the Bracer, focusing on getting both the Bracer and Ammo Appalate to maximum level, which will then evolve the latter into Gunastrophe. Obtaining this evolution will in turn also unlock Zi'Appunta Belpaese, who starts with the Ammo Appalate weapon, which can then be evolved much more easily.

She costs 6,500 gold to obtain after unlocking.
