Outbreak Island is coming to PC on early access during the Halloween season, and it could be the next big indie hit.

Being a survival title, you will aim to outlast the horrors around you on the deserted island. To survive the nights, you'll have to scavenge for resources and build your safe shelter. This guide will help you keep track of the game's launch time.

Outbreak Island release countdown

Outbreak Island's early access goes live worldwide on Oct. 28. You can purchase a copy of the game on Steam, and the developers, Tiny Magician, have confirmed the date. The following countdown will give you a rough idea of when the launch should happen.

• 11am CT
• 12pm ET
• 3pm UTC
• 4pm BST
• 5pm CEST

Do note that the developers haven't announced the exact launch timings as of writing. The countdown timings are based on Outbreak Island's approximate launch time on Steam. The exact launch could be one hour off the mark from the timings mentioned in this guide. We will duly update the timings if the developers, Tiny Magician, announce them ahead of the start of early access.

What to expect from Outbreak Island

Outbreak Island's premise seems pretty interesting, as you find yourself stuck on a deserted island. Your goal is to survive the island at any cost. Your father's old farm will be your new base, which you'll need to build from scratch. There's a handful of tools to aid your survival, but you can get more options as you advance.

Nightfall completely changes the scenery as a mysterious beam brings all the machines on the island alive. While this gives you a chance to gain some vital resources, you'll have to survive the horrors, which include mutated monstrosities and more. While the odds of survival won't be in your favor, you'll have to do your best to find out what really happened on the island.
