LAFAYETTE, IN — Shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, a man in his 20s was found hanging from the second-story balcony of the Motel 6 at 139 Frontage Road. Lafayette police officers found the unresponsive man hanging by a rope near room numbers 126 and 127, according to a news release. Responding officers immediately began life-saving efforts, including CPR, until medics arrived.
