Pokémon Go Fest's 2025 Global event is upon us, and like with previous years, you'll be playing over the weekend to try and find a slew of rare Shiny Pokémon and catch this year's flagship Mythical and new Legendary Pokémon mechanic.

For ticketed or non-ticketed trainers from Aug 28 to 29, players can take part in daily events that spawn a bunch of Pokémon with increased shiny odds for those who paid for the ticket. Each day will see its own unique spawns, with different Pokémon appearing every hour in four unique habitats. Ticketed trainers will also get some exclusive spawns on top of what is available as an added incentive.

It can be a bit confusing for new players taking part in their first Global Go Fest, so here is a rundown of all the main info you need to keep track of across the next couple of days when trying to complete your Special Research tasks and find a Shiny Pokémon you might be after.

Weekend Bonuses

These bonuses are available for everyone no matter if you purchased a ticket or not

• Surprise encounters in GO Snapshot
• One-hour duration for lure modules
• Party Play lasts a lot longer
• Zacian, Zamazenta, and costumes Pikachu and Falinks raids

Ticked Bonuses

These bonuses are only available if you paid for the Go Fest Global ticket on the in-game store or web store.

• Increased shiny chances
• Special Research to get Volcanion
• Incense exclusive Pokémon spawns, including Unowns
• Hourly global challenges and rewards
• Exclusive Collection Challenges
• Buddy will gain more Hearts
• Nine free Raid Passes from spinning Gyms per day
• 6 Special Trades per day, including half the cost for usual Trades

Habitats and times

Four habitats spawn unique Pokémon each day, and these include the following, with the local time they appear:

• Moonless Volcano (10am to 11am, 2pm to 3pm local time)
• Galvanic Dojo (11am to 12pm, 3pm to 4pm local time)
• Hypnotic Tundra (12pm to 1pm, 4pm to 5pm local time)
• Fae Swamp (1pm to 2pm, 5pm to 6pm local time)

Daily unique Pokémon encounters

Each day has unique Pokémon spawns, which include the following:

Saturday: Chansey, Skarmory, Larvitar, Shieldon, Shelmet, Vullaby, Oranguru, Goomy.

Zamazenta will also only be available on Saturday in raids. Unown D, E, H, I, L, and S are also only available on Saturday via ticketed Incense.

Sunday: Galarian Farfetch'd, Cubone, Ralts, Karrablast, Pawniard, Deino, Passimian, Jangmo-o.

Zacian will also only be available on Sunday in raids. Unown D, O, R, S, and W are also only available on Sunday via ticketed Incense.

Incense Ticked Encounters

For ticketed trainers, there is a host of unique Pokémon that only appear via incense spawns if you have paid for a ticket. These include:

• Torkoal, during the Moonless Volcano habitat
• Skiddo, during the Galvanic Dojo habitat
• Pachirisu, during the Hypnotic Tundra habitat
• Klefki, during the Fae Swamp habitat

Outside of all these, there are the usual hosts of special tasks, Collection Challenges, raids, and more to look forward to. So enjoy the event!
