How does the Magic Bean work in PEAK?

I treat the Magic Bean as a "bridge creator" of sorts. No, it doesn't create a literal bridge (that would have been cool), but it does generate a pole. Once the bean is used, you'll create a tall pole, which is actually a stalk that goes very high above the ground. I don't know its exact height, but it's significantly taller than palm trees on the island.

Using the Magic Bean is pretty easy. Take it out of your item slot or your inventory, and throw it down on the ground. That's it, as the stalk will come out of the ground and keep growing. If you have guessed it by now, the stalk is scalable and allows you to reach locations that otherwise wouldn't be possible. For example, it's one way to reach the floating luggage, where ropes won't be able to help you.
