Mindseye and remember it with a strange affection, a flawed, curious sandbox shooter that felt - albeit inadvertently - plucked from a bygone era. The hype, the bugs, the hubris of it all. Maybe, in time, we'll forget about all the large and small annoyances. Like Aliens Colonial Marines, Assassin's Creed Unity, and the launch week of Cyberpunk 2077, we will think only of how Mindseye, in its bizarre own way, briefly unified and humored the entire gaming world. But that is for the future. Right now, Mindseye reviews have afflicted it with an ignominious new title. Build A Rocket Boy's debut is the worst-rated game of 2025 so far.
