Galactic Civilizations 4 map with its major 3.0 overhaul. The new patch, which is built on more than a year of player feedback, includes better map generation, more responsive enemy AI, additional layers of strategic possibility, and a wealth of careful balance adjustments. With hundreds of changes listed, the Galactic Civilizations 4 Hyperlane Update is a major milestone for the latest instalment in the 22-year-old series, as it goes up against similarly large overhauls from the likes of Paradox's Stellaris.
