Feast for mind and senses as Multicultural Festival celebrates city’s cultural diversity

Kalgoorlie-Boulder was a melting pot of cultures on Saturday as residents enjoyed sights and sounds from across the globe.

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder’s much-loved Multicultural Festival saw the Goldfields Arts Centre forecourt and Cassidy Street transformed into a vibrant hub of food stalls and live performances.

A cultural village in the Lord Forrest Precinct showcased handmade goods and community stalls as well as dance lessons and henna tattooing.

To end the evening, Perth-based Brazilian dance group Apoteozzy Samba challenged event-goers to a game of limbo before a dance conga line was formed.
