Ghost of Tsushima studio ******* Punch says a PSN account won’t be required for the upcoming Steam version, at least in single-player mode.

Following backlash over Sony’s decision to make PSN account linking mandatory for Helldivers 2 – a decision which has since been reversed – ******* Punch took to X to point out that it won’t be required for its game.

“Just so you are aware, A PSN account is required for Legends online multiplayer mode and to use PlayStation overlay,” it stated. “It is not required to play the singleplayer game.”
