Sonic Racing CrossWorlds feature both Hatsune Miku and Minecraft within it during SGF was a hilarious, unexpected twist that had me chuckling for a while. My favorite part of the Xbox Games Showcase, on the other hand, was the announcement of Grounded 2, especially after remembering how much I enjoyed playing the first game with friends. One of those friends was also very excited about Planet of Lana 2, reminding me that I need to play it at some point.

Showcases and festivals make video gaming much more fun. While sure, I found the Xbox Showcase more interesting overall, I still had an absolute blast with SGF. My interest in these almost came close to my overwhelming joy for the Wholesome Direct this past Saturday, but that's an entirely separate conversation.
