Latest Onimusha: Way Of The Sword Trailer Shows New Gameplay And Old Bosses

The latest trailer for the next Onimusha showed off lots of new characters, and at least one old one. The game, subtitled Way of the Sword, follows series newcomer Miyamoto Musashi as he fights demons in ancient Japan for reasons we don’t yet know. We do know, however, that he has a history with at least one powerful character. 

 

The trailer also shows Osric’s reappearance, which Onimusha fans will know as the initial boss from the first game, Onimusha: Warlords. Miyamoto also appears to have Samanosuke Akechi’s gauntlet. Akechi was the protagonist of Onimusha: Warlords and Onimusha 3.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is coming next year.
