FIFA Rivals to introduce new Adidas partnership with exclusive digital promotional items

• FIFA Rivals is set to partner up with Adidas

If you’re a football fan, more likely than not, you’re also quite well-versed in sportswear. Be it Adidas, Slazenger or Nike, many brands have built themselves on their association with football. And now, Mythical Games’ upcoming arcade football sim FIFA Rivals is set to partner with mainstay Adidas for a new in-game partnership.

The partnership will include a host of digital products, features and in-game content, set to kick off (pun intended) on June 12th. You’ll be able to grab a variety of digital items such as kits, jerseys, shoes and more, all inspired by Adidas’ traditional association with the beautiful game.

Rivals itself is presented as a much more arcadey, action-filled take on the football genre that has until now been dominated either by more realistic multiplayer experiences or granular simulations such as the Football Manager series.

With that in mind then, Adidas’ partnership with FIFA Rivals makes plenty of sense, and alongside these releases you’ll want to keep an eye out for Digital Kit Drops that feature both classic and ‘future-forward’ Adidas jersey designs, while boot releases will be ‘tied’ to real-world player performance and drops. Finally, you’ll want to keep an eye out for a new limited-edition match ball, especially designed for FIFA Rivals.
