It’s that time of the year when every gamer around the world unites to get a glimpse of their most anticipated games of the year and beyond, alongside explosive new reveals.

You guessed it, the summer gaming season, marked by E3 before its cancellation, has officially kicked off this year with PlayStation’s June State of Play, followed by Summer Game Fest and many more events on the way.

that more than 60 partners will appear, including PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and much more.

But keep your expectations in check and do not go in thinking we’ll see new footage from Marvel’s Wolverine or something as outrageous as Bloodborne on PC. It will take something stronger than a miracle for either of those to happen.

Expect more Death Stranding 2 since Hideo Kojima’s already announced to be making an appearance on the show. It won’t be surprising if he revealed more details about Overdose or PlayStation’s own Metal Gear Solid, Physint, since Kojima is allergic to taking breaks and resting.

games are confirmed to be present at this year’s Summer Game Fest, it’s hard not to believe that we’ll get an update on what’s next for both the Resident Evil and Tomb Raider series.

The Summer Game Fest showcase will be followed by the Day of the Devs event, giving insight into upcoming indie titles, and lastly, the Xbox Games Showcase will take place on June 8, with The Outer Worlds 2 dedicated direct happening immediately after the show.
