Mario Kart World has an abundance of characters to play as, but did you know that some of the characters also have unique outfits you can unlock as well to personalize your racer more than ever?

The main cast all have a few costumes to find, with some getting more than others. If your favorite character is the Cow or any of the enemy NPCs, though, you'll be disappointed that they are without a costume, at least for now.

But how does it work, and how can you find them all?

How to unlock character costumes
To unlock different character costumes, so long as a character has costumes to unlock, you must be playing as that character and eat one of the many other food items you can find in races or throughout the world in free roam.

There are multiple types of food items to find, and it's necessary to identify which specific ones are needed to unlock certain items. We have compiled a list of the food to look out for, along with its location, below.
