The recall was initiated after a consumer discovered that the product’s packaging did not indicate the possible presence of milk. Camerican International of Paramus, New Jersey, the maker of the Casa Mamita product, reported that the issue was due to a “temporary breakdown” during processing and packaging; the problem has since been resolved. Don’t consume the product if you have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, as it can cause serious or life-threatening reactions.
