Lagarde Says ECB Getting to the End of Monetary Cycle

The European Central Bank is coming to the end of its campaign of interest-rate cuts following the eighth reduction in a year, according to President Christine Lagarde. She made the comments during her opening statement at the ECB’s six-weekly briefing in Frankfurt. Earlier policy makers lowered euro-zone rates for the eighth time in a year to 2%.
