Quite literally, I could never imagine that the fans would get a new Silent Hill game that soon. Speaking of which, the franchise’s new installment brings the most realistic depiction of Japan from the year 1960. On top of it, the in-game world details, background music, and puzzles are going to blow everyone’s mind. The new Silent Hill game will have some fresh features like melee-focused combat and other challenges that make it stand out from other games in the series. The question is, will you be able to endure the suffering brought to Japan by some of the sickest monsters? Everything we know about Silent Hill f so far Silent Hill f is set in the year 1960, where a town called Ebisugaoka in Japan is being haunted by some of the most brutal monsters we have ever seen. You will be playing as a female high schooler, Shimizu Hinako, who will be solving puzzles, fighting monsters, and uncovering the truth behind this nightmare that has come to her hometown. The game is more than just fighting the demons, as you will be forced to make decisions that can change Hinako’s fate. Much like any other Silent Hill game, this one will have a spine-chilling environment, allowing you to be immersed in the terrifying journey. That being said, you need a heart of steel to escape the fears and overcome the odds. An important thing to note is that this game heavily focuses on melee combat. Unlike other titles in the franchise, this one places equal emphasis on both the encounters and puzzles. In short, you can say that the combat in last year’s Silent Hill 2 was just a glimpse. Compared to that, the upcoming game will have a much more detailed combat system, allowing you to fight the monsters with dislocated limbs. This game will be a standalone spinoff, accessible to both new and existing players. Thankfully, that means you don’t need to be a longtime fan of this series to enjoy it. So sit back and let yourself enjoy this horror adventure written by the popular scriptwriter Ryukishi07. You know the game is going to be extraordinary, especially when it’s already banned in a certain country before its release.
