As a brand-new IP from a studio known for long-standing franchises, Pragmata has naturally drawn plenty of attention. Especially more attention as it was originally revealed in 2020 during the PlayStation 5 reveal event, and initially slated for a 2022 release.

However, after multiple delays, including an indefinite one in 2023, the game has now re-emerged with a new target: 2026. Though no specific date has been confirmed, the reaffirmation of the project and the fact that we’ve now seen in-engine gameplay suggest development is back on track.

The unique lunar setting and emotional tone already hint at something memorable. Combined with the innovative dual-character gameplay, the game has the potential to carve out a space of its own in a crowded genre.
