Detectives charge James Wood and Tamika Bromely with ******* of missing Queensland teenager Pheobe Bishop

Detectives have charged Pheobe Bishop’s housemates with ******* after she vanished in May.

Queensland Police charged James Wood, 34, and Tamika Bromely, 33, with one count each of ******* and two counts each of interfering with a corpse on Thursday night.

The pair are due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on June 6.

Pheobe was last seen on May 15 and her remains are yet to be located.

The tragic update comes after police conducted several inquiries during their investigations, including searches of Good Night Scrub National Park, forensic examinations of a **** **** property and vehicle.

The 17-year-old from the Wide Bay region, about four hours north of Brisbane, has not been seen or heard from since Thursday, May 15.

It’s understood she was driven to Bundaberg Airport for an 8.30am flight to Brisbane and then on to Perth, where she planned to meet up with her boyfriend.

Pheobe failed to board the flight and neither she nor her luggage have been seen since, with police revealing neither her phone nor bank accounts had been accessed.
