At least 18 injured after Russian drone strikes on Kharkiv apartments

STORY: :: A Russian drone attack strikes apartment buildings in Kharkiv, injuring more than a dozen people

“We were sleeping. After the first explosion, we ran out of the apartment to the hallway. That was when we heard the second explosion of drones hitting our apartment building.”

“It’s the second time it happened to us. Yesterday, workers had just finished repair work in my apartment after the previous attack.”

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said the overnight strikes damaged seven apartment buildings, with direct hits on two.

Burnt-out cars were on the street and emergency services workers were inspecting the damage outside the scene of the attack.

There was no immediate comment from Russia.
